Here comes… Joseph, one of the most promising data scientist soccer player you will ever met

The mercato is over. Great players moved, Barcelona FC bought Coutinho, Arsenal bought Aubameyang and sold Giroud to Chelsea. We found him and his name is Joseph. He is definitely the best soccer player we ever had in the team and he is also a very promising data scientist. We thought an interview of Joseph was the thing you need to read this week.

Greg : Joseph, you must be super happy to join ProcessOut. We assume that lots of teams have tried to onroll you? Why did you chose ProcessOut?

Joseph : I am indeed very happy to join this team. It’s a new step in the evolution of my career. You know, after spending 4 years at the Polytechnique training center, it’s time for me to be thrown in at the deep end of payment world. The ProcessOut project appealed to me on several points :

• a team of hard workers with whom I immediately had a very good feeling and who will make me progress very quickly
• a place at my favorite position, data scientist, with very exciting challenges for this season!
• an ambition assumed, the team works clearly to win the champions league!

Greg : You’re a pretty new player. Can you tell us a bit more about your background and previous experiences?

Joseph : Indeed I am still very young and looking for experience and success. I had the chance to spend 4 years in the polytechnic training center and learn from the best trainers. In my third year I started to play as a data scientist, following the data science MSc. I gained confidence in this position by participating in many projects of machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing, it’s super exciting!

Greg : You will play with Guillaume on the data side of ProcessOut. How do you feel about it?

Joseph : I am very excited to play alongside Guillaume this season, he is an excellent player and he occupies an important place in the team, it helps me to gain confidence. Our exchanges are very prolific and we are very complementary, I believe it’s very interesting for the team. I’m sure he’ll help me progress technically and make me reach the goals we set for myself when I arrived. I can’t wait to play with a developper like Guillaume!

Greg : What do you want to say to the fans? Did you know that some payment fans already have some posters of you in their toilets?

Joseph : (Laughs) I don’t know what to think about it, I focus on the work we do with the team, I know that many clubs are very envious of the quality of the game we produce. And that’s normal; the results to come are very promising! I think our jersey sales will explode this year, the design is beautiful, the designers did a fantastic job!

Greg : Last but not least, do you really think that you can help the team win the Champions League?

Joseph : I believe tremendously in the potential of this team and the reason for my coming to this club is to do everything to win the champions league this year. I will work hard to bring the maximum to the team in the conquest of this title!
